The 2025 trade deadline is one the Los Angeles Lakers will never forget. They traded for superstar and current franchise centerpiece Luka Doncic, and the cost of that was All-Star center Anthony Davis. Nothing has gone beyond mere speculation as…

Former Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis is reportedly facing a potential trade exit from the Washington Wizards, according to NBC Sports' Kurt Helin. With the Wizards prioritizing young talent such as AJ Dybantsa and Alex Sarr, contract talks with the 33-year-old veteran have reportedly been postponed until later in the season.
Davis is set to make around $58 million this season with a concluding year above $60 million, alongside eligibility for a four-year, $275 million extension. Heavy reports that while quality rim protectors remain in high demand, Davis' high salary makes a potential reunion with the Lakers practically impossible.
