The Milwaukee Bucks have officially requested waivers on forward Pete Nance, forward/center Johni Broome, and center Jake Stephens. While Broome and Stephens were on Exhibit 10 deals, Nance was on a non-guaranteed two-year contract after appearing in 47 games for Milwaukee last season. Milwaukee reportedly hoped to retain Nance and could sign him to an open two-way slot if he clears waivers without being claimed by another team.
Broome and Stephens are expected to join the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee's G League affiliate. Even after the three releases, the Bucks still have 16 players on guaranteed standard deals and must waive or trade one more player before Monday's regular season roster deadline.
