Former 76ers star Jimmy Butler adds fuel to his tension with the franchise following his latest comment about the new-look Philly squad.

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler has issued a challenge to his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, following their offseason acquisitions. Speaking on SiriusXM radio, Butler stated that he and the Warriors are going to "give them hell" when the two franchises face off, reacting unimpressed to Philadelphia signing LeBron James and Jaylen Brown.
Butler is currently sidelined while rehabilitating an ACL injury from last season, with Golden State setting a target return timeline around January or February. The Sixer Sense writer Nicolas Kyle Pring argues that Butler's comments are irrational, asserting that Philadelphia has a clear competitive advantage over Golden State, with the teams scheduled to play each other in late March and early April.
