LeBron James is dismissing any concerns about his much-publicized helicopter rides. The Philadelphia 76ers star James spoke with the media after Friday’s preseason game against the Boston Celtics.
Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James addressed criticism regarding his use of a private helicopter for team travel after a preseason game against the Boston Celtics. James dismissed the concerns, stating that using a helicopter is simply another form of transportation. The 41-year-old forward plans to reside in New York during the season and commute to Philadelphia via helicopter trips.
The travel arrangements have drawn scrutiny due to monetary and environmental impacts, as well as James receiving the flights for free through a partnership with Fanatics. Investigative journalist Pablo Torre reportedly plans to examine the situation, though James maintained the arrangement is not an issue.
