Tottenham Hotspur have compiled a five-man striker shortlist for the January transfer window to address their lack of goals, according to TEAMtalk. The targets reportedly include Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, Benfica striker Vangelis Pavlidis, Espanyol's Roberto Fernandez, Freiburg's Igor Matanovic, and Real Madrid's Endrick as manager Roberto De Zerbi seeks a clinical number nine.
Tottenham's pursuit of Endrick has reportedly hit a major roadblock, as Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho stated it is impossible for the Brazilian forward to leave on loan. Meanwhile, Mateta is viewed as an accessible Premier League option as he reportedly seeks an exit from Selhurst Park.
