Man Utd news: JJ Gabriel decision imminent as Michael Carrick opens up on transfer plan

Manchester United teenager JJ Gabriel is reportedly set to decide his future soon after requesting to cancel his registration last month. The 16-year-old demanded a seven-figure salary and playing time, leading him to train individually in Barcelona amid reported interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, manager Michael Carrick has confirmed that Manchester United intend to be active in the upcoming January transfer window.

Carrick emphasized his commitment to strengthening the squad mid-season despite mounting pressure following defeats against Hull, Manchester City, and Atletico Madrid. United currently sit 13th in the Premier League as they prepare to face Daniel Farke's Leeds at Elland Road.
