The Glasgow giants threw away a 2-1 lead after some sloppy play gifted Dundee an equaliser

Rangers missed an opportunity to take top spot in the Scottish Premiership after being held to a 2-2 draw by Dundee at Dens Park. Bradley Fink put Stephen Pressley's side ahead before Badredine Bouanani equalized just before halftime. Nico Raskin gave Rangers the lead with a long-range strike in the second half, but an error by Rangers captain Dan Neil allowed Callum Jones to secure a point for Dundee.
The draw ends Rangers' push for an eighth consecutive league victory and leaves them in second place. With rivals Celtic set to play Hearts, Rangers now face the risk of falling four points behind the league leaders. Despite late substitute Findlay Curtis seeing a stoppage-time effort cleared off the line by Ryan Astley, Dundee held on firmly to claim a well-earned point.
