Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton described his return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse as "special" following his first appearance at the venue since June 2025. Haliburton had spent over 400 days sidelined due to injury before making his home court comeback against the Milwaukee Bucks. Addressing reporters postgame, he expressed deep appreciation for the home crowd and stated that he no longer takes being healthy for granted.
Haliburton recorded 17 points, six assists, and three rebounds during the game, though the Pacers suffered a narrow 128-127 defeat to Milwaukee. The contest served as preparation ahead of Indiana's regular season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on October 21.
