Saints quarterback Tyler Shough has been playing with two broken bones in his left hand, sources told ESPN.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough has been playing with two broken bones in his non-throwing left hand, according to sources. Shough suffered the injury during a 45-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 5. Despite the injury, which is expected to take weeks or even months to heal, the quarterback has not missed playing time and has continued to participate fully in team practices.
The fractured hand has forced Shough to tape his fingers together, wear a protective glove, and hand off with his opposite hand. Following a 23-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings that dropped the Saints to 1-4, team owner Gayle Benson publicly criticized the organization's start. Shough, who has thrown for 1,299 yards this season, will continue playing through the issue under head coach Kellen Moore.
