Welcome to The Linc, the daily Philadelphia Eagles links roundup at Bleeding Green Nation! Maybe the Panthers will totally underestimate the Eagles’ backup quarterback?! Probably not. Multiple Panthers players had nice things to say about Tanner McKee. But it is…

Carolina Panthers safety Nick Scott admitted he does not know much about Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee ahead of Sunday's matchup. McKee is set to make his third career NFL start for the Eagles as starting quarterback Jalen Hurts has been placed on injured reserve due to a blood clot in his calf, sidelining him for at least four weeks.
Scott noted he gained what little insight he had about the 6-foot-6 quarterback through a conversation with backup Kenny Pickett, who previously played with McKee in Philadelphia. The game also features several other roster shifts, as the Panthers will be missing starting cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson, while Philadelphia manages multiple injuries across its running back corps.
