Dr Brian Sutterer has warned Jalen Hurts fans that the worst may be yet to come. The sports doctor believes the quarterback’s season could already be over.
The Philadelphia Eagles have placed quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve, ruling him out for at least four games. Following the decision, sports doctor Brian Sutterer warned that Hurts could potentially miss the remainder of the season if he is prescribed blood thinners, which prevent players from safely participating in contact sports.
A blood clot was initially discovered before a game against the Jaguars, but an ultrasound later revealed movement, ending his participation against the Carolina Panthers. Tanner McKee has taken over as the starting quarterback, with the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers marking Hurts' earliest potential return.
