Macs Page marked his 50th appearance for the Scarlets by scoring two tries in a 47-19 victory over Newcastle Red Bulls at Parc y Scarlets. Head coach Dwayne Peel's side launched their EPCR Challenge Cup campaign with seven tries to earn a bonus-point win, which follows their recent victory over Benetton Rugby.
Sam Costelow scored the opening try before exiting with a hamstring injury, while Fletcher Anderson, Johnny Williams, Gareth Davies, and Ellis Mee also crossed the line. Newcastle replied with late tries from Oliver Spencer and Ollie Leatherbarrow after replacement prop Murray McCallum was shown a yellow card.
