Defensive end Chris Canty takes the title of the best Dallas Cowboys player to wear No. 99.

The Landry Hat named defensive end Chris Canty as the best player to wear No. 99 in Dallas Cowboys franchise history. Canty was selected in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft and spent four seasons with Dallas, peaking in 2007 with 43 tackles and 3.5 sacks during a division-winning campaign.
Canty departed in free agency in 2009, signing a six-year, $42 million deal with the NFC East rival New York Giants, where he won a Super Bowl. Kevin Brooks and Antwaun Woods placed second and third in the site's jersey ranking.
