The LA Clippers reportedly plan to offer Karl-Anthony Towns big money, and they need to execute that plan as soon as the opportunity arises.

Writer Iliyan Lakhani argues that the LA Clippers must fully commit to pursuing center Karl-Anthony Towns in upcoming free agency. According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the Clippers, Atlanta Hawks, and Golden State Warriors are preparing to offer Towns top dollar after his contract extension talks with the New York Knicks stalled ahead of his $61 million player option.
Lakhani contends that signing Towns would revitalize the Clippers' championship aspirations and pair well with Darius Garland. Towns averaged 20.1 points and 11.9 rebounds over 75 games last season while helping lead his team to an NBA title.
