It has been a while since the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade turned the Miami Heat into National TV darlings, and the interest and hype around the world have only increased. The Heat's regular season is about to begin on October 21st…

Giannis Antetokounmpo has integrated into the Miami Heat after being traded to the franchise in July, preparing ahead of the regular-season opener on October 21. During the preseason, the superstar forward averaged 15.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 6.7 assists across three games, helping Miami secure victories against the Toronto Raptors and the New Orleans Pelicans before sitting out a loss to the Orlando Magic.
Antetokounmpo praised team president Pat Riley for visiting his family and childhood court in Greece following the trade. Speaking on his brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo's podcast, the 31-year-old emphasized his commitment to the demanding conditioning of Heat culture, expressing confidence that head coach Erik Spoelstra's program will place him in peak physical shape for his 14th NBA season.
