Morgan Rogers escaped a red card in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Everton, much to the annoyance of David Moyes

Former referee Mike Dean stated that Chelsea player Morgan Rogers deserved a straight red card for a challenge on James Garner during Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Everton. Everton manager David Moyes had already voiced frustration over the officiating, suggesting Rogers should have at least received a second yellow card after Everton midfielder Harrison Armstrong was booked earlier in the match.
Chelsea claimed the 2-0 win through two goals from Pedro Neto, who scored in the 46th and 90th minutes, handing Everton their first defeat in nine league games. The physical contest also saw visiting goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez stretchered off due to a concussion following a collision with Jarrad Branthwaite.
