It’s been a rough start to the season for the big defenseman, and Nikita Zadorov’s agent just made things more interesting. Dan Milstein has fueled Toronto Maple Leafs trade speculation after the Boston Bruins defenseman was made a healthy scratch…
Nikita Zadorov's agent, Dan Milstein, fueled trade speculation linking the Boston Bruins defenseman to the Toronto Maple Leafs following a social media exchange on Saturday. After Bruins coach Marco Sturm made Zadorov a healthy scratch for disciplinary reasons, a fan commented that the defenseman would not be treated that way in Toronto, to which Milstein replied, "No, he would not."
Sturm benched Zadorov after the blueliner took a double minor for roughing Frank Vatrano during Boston's loss to Anaheim. The agent's remarks drew mixed reactions across the league, coinciding with reports from Elliotte Friedman indicating that the Maple Leafs are seeking a difference-making defenseman.
