In Alexander Blessin's first home game in charge of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Alexander Prass scored and assisted for Hoffenheim, who edged a thrilling encounter at Borussia-Park, leaving the Foals still searching for their first points of the season.
Alexander Prass scored once and provided an assist as Hoffenheim defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1 at Borussia-Park. Bambasé Conté opened the scoring for Hoffenheim in the 11th minute off a pass from Prass, before 17-year-old Wael Mohya equalized for the hosts early in the second half. Prass then restored the visitors' lead in the 54th minute by slotting home an Adam Hložek setup.
The result spoiled Alexander Blessin's first home game as Mönchengladbach manager, leaving his side winless and without a point this season. Christian Ilzer's Hoffenheim held firm to secure the victory, with Prass earning Man of the Match honors in his first league start since April.
