Both TSG Hoffenheim and Borussia Mönchengladbach desperately needed a result when they met in the Bundesliga, but it was the visitors who came away with three crucial points.

TSG Hoffenheim ended their recent losing streak by securing a 2-1 away victory against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga. Bambasé Conté opened the scoring for the visitors with an early strike following a slick passing move. Gladbach leveled the match shortly after halftime in the 49th minute courtesy of a curling finish from teenager Wael Mohya.
Hoffenheim responded just five minutes later when Alexander Prass, deployed in midfield, scored to restore the visitors' lead. Despite late pressure from Alexander Blessin's side, including an attempt over the bar from Joe Scally, Hoffenheim successfully held on for the win, leaving Gladbach without a victory through six league matches.
