Borussia Dortmund fell to a 1-0 loss away to Bodo/Glimt on Wednesday.

Borussia Dortmund suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League, dropping the German club to 18th place in the standings. Fredrik Sjovold scored the decisive goal in the 52nd minute following an assist from Sondre Auklend. Head coach Niko Kovac benched several key players before introducing Serhou Guirassy, Felix Nmecha, and Ethan Nwaneri, but the visitors failed to equalize against goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.
The result produced several notable statistics, marking the first time Dortmund failed to score this season and ending their seven-match unbeaten streak. The defeat represents Dortmund's fourth loss in their last five Champions League matches. Additionally, Dortmund became the first German side to lose to Bodo/Glimt in the competition, while also failing to win back-to-back matches for the first time since April 2026.
