Arminia Bielefeld secured a 3-1 victory over Eintracht Braunschweig at the SchücoArena on Friday evening in the 2. Bundesliga, powered by a brace from Joel Grodowski. Oliver Kirch's side rebounded from their previous defeat to Hertha BSC with a dominant display, claiming an early advantage through Maximilian Großer in the 23rd minute before Grodowski doubled the lead four minutes later.
Braunschweig pulled a goal back after halftime through Aaron Opoku to make it 2-1. However, Grodowski struck again to complete his brace and seal the 3-1 victory, halting the momentum Braunschweig carried from their recent derby win over Hannover 96.
