Manuel Baum will be without the talented central defender for an unknown period of time after his latest setback.

FC Augsburg defender Noah-Kai Banks faces an extended spell on the sidelines after sustaining a lateral collateral ligament injury in his right knee. The 19-year-old center-back picked up the injury while representing Germany U-21 in their 4-1 European Championship qualifier victory over Malta.
Following recent medical examinations, Banks departed the national youth camp to begin rehabilitation in Augsburg under manager Manuel Baum. The recovery timeline is estimated between 2 and 12 weeks, though no surgery has been scheduled.
