Bayern Munich legend David Alaba finally joins his next team, one that no one saw coming

Italian club Udinese has officially announced the signing of Austrian defender David Alaba on a one-year deal. The 34-year-old former Bayern Munich and Real Madrid player joined the Serie A side on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with the Spanish giants.

Alaba previously made 431 appearances for Bayern Munich from 2010 to 2021 before playing 132 matches and winning two Champions League titles with Real Madrid. Despite reported interest from Manchester United, Club America, and Hamburg, he chose to embark on the next chapter of his career in Italy.
