Bayern Munich has reportedly entered the race alongside Liverpool to monitor AS Roma midfielder Manu Koné, though the German club is not expected to be active during the upcoming January transfer window. Elsewhere in European transfer rumors, Chelsea is monitoring Florian Wirtz's situation at Liverpool under advice from manager Xabi Alonso, while Arsenal is tracking Bayern Munich's 17-year-old goalkeeper Leonard Prescott.

Additional reports indicate Barcelona has tied down versatile talent Xavi Espart to a contract through 2030, ending potential January moves despite interest from Bayern and Premier League sides. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur plans a January loan move for 18-year-old prospect Luca Williams-Barnett to stave off interest from European heavyweights, including Bayern Munich.
