After a relatively low-key start to the campaign following Colombia's FIFA World Cup 2026 last-16 exit to Switzerland, Luis Díaz served up a timely reminder of just how devastating he can be in Bayern Munich's 6-1 rout of RB Leipzig.
Luis Díaz scored a hat-trick and provided an assist to inspire Bayern Munich to a 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. The Colombian winger opened the scoring from a Joshua Kimmich chipped pass and later set up Aleksandar Pavlović, claiming Man of the Match honors with 84 percent of the fan vote.
The performance marked Díaz's second Bundesliga hat-trick since joining Bayern Munich from Liverpool in summer 2025. Following Colombia's World Cup 2026 exit, Díaz has now registered six goal involvements across 10 competitive appearances for Bayern this season.
