Brazil U-20 and U-23 head coach Paulo Victor Gomes recently visited Bayern Munich's Säbener Straße headquarters to monitor youngster Maycon Cardozo. During the trip, Gomes met with Bayern manager Vincent Kompany and club legend Dante to discuss the emerging young talent as part of his broader tracking of Brazilian players abroad.
Cardozo is currently recovering from shoulder surgery, and there is no indication that an international call-up is imminent. However, Gomes' visit marks an encouraging step for the player, who has stated that representing Brazil remains a major personal objective.
