Dayot Upamecano is returning to Bayern Munich earlier than expected after being released from international duty by the French national team. The defender was sent off with a red card during France's match against Italy, which ruled him out of their upcoming fixture.
Rather than keeping him with the squad, France opted to send him back to Munich. His early return allows him to rejoin Vincent Kompany's squad at Säbener Straße and begin preparations for Bayern's upcoming Bundesliga and Champions League matches.
