Borussia Dortmund secured a tight 1-0 victory against VfB Stuttgart at the MHPArena, maintaining their perfect record in all competitions. The win places Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table heading into the international break. After a scoreless first half, Maximilian Beier scored the decisive goal in the 70th minute to secure the three points.
Jobe Bellingham assisted the goal with a cross that deflected off Stuttgart's Maximilian Mittelst dt into Beier's path. Despite the win, Dortmund struggled to progress the ball through the midfield, with goalkeeper Gregor Kobel leading the team in passes into the final third. Konstantinos Karetsas made a solid appearance off the bench following his return from injury.
