The Croatian international has caught the eye of England's elite after a barnstorming start to the 2026-27 campaign.

SC Freiburg striker Igor Matanovic is attracting interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, according to CaughtOffside. Both London clubs have reportedly scouted the Croatian international in person during the early stages of the 2026-27 season following an impressive start that produced six goals and two assists in seven games.
Matanovic is reportedly open to securing a permanent transfer to the Premier League, with a discussed transfer fee of €58 million. The forward joined Freiburg last summer for €6.7 million and currently remains under a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club.
