Serhou Guirassy’s worrying record against Bayern Munich

Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy enters the upcoming Bundesliga fixture against Bayern Munich having never scored against them since joining BVB. Across five appearances in all competitions for Dortmund against Bayern, Guirassy has registered zero goals and zero assists. In his overall career across eight matches against the Bavarian club, he has scored just once, doing so with VfB Stuttgart in September 2022.

The forward also enters the clash in the midst of a domestic dry spell, having failed to score in five consecutive Bundesliga matches after scoring in the opening two games. Although Guirassy has recently found the net in the UEFA Champions League against Sabah FK and the DFB-Pokal against Werder Bremen, his Bundesliga goal tally remains stuck at two.
