The Allianz Arena is undergoing its NFL facelift

Pitch preparations are underway at the Allianz Arena ahead of the NFL game between the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions on November 15. The playing surface is being extended, field goals are being installed, and end zones will be fitted next week.

Chuck Smith of Bavarian Football Works humorously expresses concern over the toll the football game will take on the pitch. He hopes the groundskeeping staff can successfully restore the surface before Bayern Munich and Harry Kane play there next.
