Corinthians announce Fernando Diniz’s departure after another defeat

Corinthians have officially announced the dismissal of head coach Fernando Diniz following a 2-1 defeat against Internacional on Wednesday. The decision was confirmed shortly after the final whistle in Porto Alegre, ending Diniz's tenure as manager of the Brazilian club.

The loss marked Corinthians' seventh consecutive defeat in the Campeonato Brasileiro, leaving the team hovering just above the relegation zone. The dismissal follows earlier eliminations from both the Copa Libertadores quarter-finals and the Copa do Brasil round of 16.
