Balazs Toth has retained a key role at Blackburn Rovers despite uncertainty over his future heading into 2027.

Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Balazs Toth is reportedly resisting the club's attempts to sign him to a new contract. According to reporter Alan Nixon, Rovers have made renewed efforts to extend the 29-year-old's stay, but the Hungary international is holding off to explore his options at the end of the season.
Toth's contract expires in the summer, and he was previously targeted by Celtic, whose bids fell short. Despite the uncertainty, Toth remains an integral player under manager Tony Mowbray, starting five consecutive matches and recently keeping a clean sheet against Bristol City.
