Millwall hand a new long-term deal to Zak Sturge, who has become a mainstay at left-back in his time at the club.

Millwall left-back Zak Sturge has signed a new long-term contract to extend his stay at the club. The 22-year-old originally joined the Lions from Chelsea in February 2025 on loan before completing a permanent transfer during the summer. He has been a consistent presence under manager Alex Neil, featuring in every match this season.
Sturge has made 60 appearances and scored one goal for Millwall. Director of football Steve Green praised the defender's progress, discipline, and consistency over the past 18 months, though the club did not disclose the exact length of the new deal.
