ALK Capital on the lookout for two new bosses…

Burnley owners ALK Capital have dismissed Espanyol head coach Manolo Gonzalez, marking the second managerial sacking by chairman Alan Pace in four days. The decision followed Espanyol's 4-0 extra-time Copa del Rey defeat to fourth-tier Sestao, leaving the Spanish club searching for a new manager alongside Burnley.
Gonzalez leaves Espanyol after 107 matches in charge, with the club currently positioned in La Liga's relegation zone with two wins from 10 games. His departure follows the dismissal of Burnley manager Hayen, who lasted only 106 days after managing just one win in 12 Championship games.
