Middlesbrough will have to make do without their summer recruit for a bit longer as they aim to keep their momentum going.

Middlesbrough midfielder Rokas Pukstas is expected to remain sidelined until the start of December as he recovers from an injury. Head coach Kim Hellberg confirmed via The Northern Echo that the 22-year-old is approximately a month away from returning. Pukstas is now set to miss upcoming Championship fixtures against Wrexham, Watford, Bristol City, Swansea City, and Southampton.
Pukstas joined Middlesbrough during the summer transfer window from Hajduk Split on a long-term contract running until June 2031. However, the United States youth international has made only one appearance for Boro, who currently sit at the top of the Championship table.
