Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson offered his verdict on his side's win…

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson expressed his eagerness to call his father following a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough at the Racecourse Ground on Wednesday. Stockton-raised Parkinson shared that his father, who resides in Stockton-on-Tees alongside many Middlesbrough supporters, has been dealing with an illness over recent weeks, and noted that the win would provide a significant emotional lift.
The result snapped a difficult stretch of three defeats in four matches for Wrexham. To counter Middlesbrough, Parkinson altered his tactical approach to a 5-3-1-1 formation, deploying Lewis O'Brien behind Kieffer Moore to supply added energy and defensive structure.
