Will Lankshear moved to 15 goals with a brace against Charlton Athletic…

Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg praised the club's recruitment team after striker Will Lankshear scored twice in a 3-0 win against Charlton Athletic. The brace brought the 21-year-old Tottenham signing to 15 goals for the season and kept Middlesbrough top of the Championship. Hellberg credited head of football Kieran Scott and head of recruitment Chris Jones for successfully convincing Lankshear to make the move during the summer.
Beyond recruitment efforts, Hellberg identified Lankshear's personal work ethic and the quality of his teammates as the primary reasons for his rapid success. The striker has scored 13 league goals in 13 matches, showing development in his pressing and all-around play. Lankshear was substituted late in the Charlton match due to suspected cramp after sealing the victory.
