Will Lankshear went down after running back following his second goal against Charlton Athletic…

Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg hopes striker Will Lankshear avoided injury after being substituted with cramp during a 3-0 victory against Charlton Athletic. Lankshear scored twice to bring his season tally to 15 goals before being replaced by David Strelec and heading down the tunnel. Hellberg explained the withdrawal was a precaution, stating he believes the 21-year-old forward suffered only cramp and should be fine.
Lankshear showed positive signs after the match, returning to the pitch at full-time without apparent discomfort to celebrate with supporters. Middlesbrough faces upcoming matches against Wrexham and Watford before an international break, where Lankshear is expected to earn an England Under-21 call-up.
