This week's Boro notebook looks back at the 150 display last weekend, a new academy starlet and a move for a former prospect

Middlesbrough celebrated their 150-year anniversary with a victory over Wolves and a massive fan-organized stadium display. Supporter groups including Red Faction, South Stand MFC, and Twe12th Man prepared 31,000 cards across four stands and unveiled a fan-funded tifo depicting an early club lineup, requiring three days of volunteer preparation.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old schoolboy Billy Linacre made his under-21 debut as a substitute in Boro's 7-2 win against Grangetown Boys in the North Riding Senior Cup. In other youth news, striker Cruz Ibeh scored on his 18th birthday in a 2-1 defeat to Everton, while former prospect Hazeem Bakre completed a move to Singapore side FC Jurong.
