Will Lankshear has 13 league goals in as many games for Middlesbrough…

Lankshear has enjoyed a historic start for Middlesbrough, becoming the first player since Brian Clough in 1958-59 to score 13 goals in the opening 13 league games of a season. A brace against Charlton Athletic placed him alongside club icons, with only Jimmy McClelland recording a better start by scoring 14 goals in 13 matches during the 1925-26 campaign.
Craig Johns highlights that Lankshear matches the scoring rate of George Camsell, who also scored 13 goals in his first 13 appearances. Additionally, Lankshear's current tally equals Aleksandar Mitrovic's haul at the same stage during his record-breaking 43-goal Championship season with Fulham.
