Liam Kitching makes international debut as Sheffield United teammate features in win

Sheffield United defender Liam Kitching made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland in a 3-0 victory against Israel on Sunday in the UEFA Nations League. Played at the Nagyerdei Stadion in Hungary, manager Heimir Hallgrímsson's side secured their first Nations League win following first-half goals from Troy Parrott, Adam Idah, and Jack Moylan.

Kitching, currently on a season-long loan from Coventry City, played the full 90 minutes on the left side of a three-man defense. Sheffield United teammate Tom Cannon also appeared as a 69th-minute substitute, while former Blades John Egan and Chiedozie Ogbene remained unused substitutes.
