Alexander refers to Sydie Peck’s first goal as a ‘nothing ball’

Preston North End manager Graham Alexander expressed his frustration after Sheffield United mounted a comeback victory, ignited by what he described as a "nothing ball." Leo Leroy gave Preston an early lead in the opening minutes, but Sheffield United responded when Sydie Peck scored a fortunate equalizer that drifted into the net in the 27th minute.
Peck went on to complete his first career hat-trick within twenty minutes of his first goal, leaving Preston trailing 3-1 by halftime. Alexander lamented his team's drop in confidence following the equalizer, as the Blades secured their first consecutive wins of the season.
