Goalscorer Cameron Bragg claimed he was “pushed pretty far” to return to the first team after Southampton's 4-1 win over QPR.
Cameron Bragg scored his first Championship goal to help Southampton secure a 4-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers at St Mary's Stadium. The 21-year-old midfielder netted in the 55th minute following an opening goal by Kuryu Matsuki, marking a successful return to action after being sent off against rivals Portsmouth earlier in the month.
Keven Schlotterbeck and stoppage-time substitute Wellington also scored for Southampton, while Richard Kone netted a reply for QPR. Bragg reflected on a turbulent couple of weeks following his red card, crediting the support of fans, teammates, and staff for helping him regain focus and character.
