Footage emerging from Staplewood on Friday morning, seems to suggest that on of the injured trio of Cyle Larin, Caspar Jander & Leo Scienza will be fit to play against Preston North End at Deepdale on Saturday.
Leo Scienza is set to return to the Southampton squad for Saturday's match against Preston North End at Deepdale after training at Staplewood on Friday morning. However, fellow injured players Cyle Larin and Caspar Jander are still expected to remain sidelined for the contest.
Manager Tonda Eckert previously described Scienza's setback as a minor issue, leaving uncertainty over whether he will start or be rested ahead of the international break. Alternative options on the left include Sam Edozie, Lewis Dobbin, and Tom Fellows.
