Southampton winger Leo Scienza appears ready to return to the squad for their upcoming match against Preston North End after being spotted in training footage at Staplewood. The 28-year-old missed Tuesday's 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion due to a minor issue, but head coach Tonda Eckert remained hopeful he would be available for the trip to Deepdale.
While Scienza has resumed training, teammates Cyle Larin and Caspar Jander remain absent and are expected to stay sidelined until after the international break. Larin is nursing a hamstring injury that also ruled him out of Canada's upcoming fixture, while Jander is currently recovering from a muscular problem.
