Southampton need to make transfer additions in January to boost their promotion push…

GiveMeSport's James Beavis argues that Southampton should terminate Divin Mubama's loan spell from Manchester City during the January transfer window. The 20-year-old striker has registered one goal in 12 Championship appearances, totaling just 205 league minutes under manager Tonda Eckert. Beavis contends that Mubama lacks the quality required to reliably support the club's promotion push in the absence of top scorer Cyle Larin.
Beavis suggests Southampton target Leeds United forward Lukas Nmecha as an ideal replacement. According to a previous report from TEAMtalk, sporting director Johannes Spors has monitored the 27-year-old Germany international, whose contract expires at the end of the season. With Nmecha struggling for Premier League minutes, Beavis views him as an attractive upgrade to strengthen Southampton's attacking depth.
