Robert Huth on Man City: I don’t want FA Cup medal but part of me thinks send them to the National League

Former Stoke City defender Robert Huth stated he would not want a retrospective 2011 FA Cup winner's medal following Manchester City's financial rule violations. An independent Premier League panel found Manchester City guilty of disguising over £830 million in secret funding between 2009 and 2018. Huth noted that although Manchester City defeated Stoke on the pitch, part of him believes they should be relegated to the National League.

Huth also criticized the Premier League's financial regulations, arguing that Profitability and Sustainability Rules have negatively impacted clubs like Stoke and Leicester City. Addressing Stoke's current campaign in the Championship, Huth expressed optimism about their recent form and emphasized the importance of forward Sam Gallagher remaining fit for a promotion playoff push.
