Reaction from the bet365 Stadium as Stoke City lose 3-2 to Middlesbrough

Stoke City suffered their first defeat since late August in a 3-2 loss against Middlesbrough, earning applause from home supporters at full-time despite the result. Callum Brittain opened the scoring for Middlesbrough early in the second half before a Neto Borges own goal leveled the match. Will Lankshear restored Middlesbrough's lead following a spilled shot by Viktor Johansson, but substitute Robert Bozenik struck back for Stoke to make it 2-2.
Middlesbrough snatched victory late on when Borges redeemed his earlier own goal by scoring from close range following a corner. Peter Smith rated Stoke's players after the contest, awarding Bozenik the team's highest mark of 7.5, while Ben Wilmot made his 200th appearance for the Potters.
