West Ham are aiming to secure an immediate promotion back to the Premier League from the Championship this season.

EFL expert George Elek has named West Ham United as the likeliest team to win the Championship title this season. Speaking on the Not The Top 20 Podcast, Elek stated that despite some concerns over their game control, the Hammers are the probability-based favorites. West Ham currently sit second in the Championship table behind Swansea City after eight league fixtures under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
West Ham lead the division in scoring with 22 goals but have conceded 11 times across their opening matches. Key winger Jarrod Bowen remained with the club following relegation from the Premier League, while summer arrivals Arne Engels, Joel Piroe, and Manor Solomon bolstered the squad. Most recently, West Ham secured a 2-2 draw against Millwall through goals from Mohamadou Kante and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
